How to catch a missing bracket?

Post by mpohlen » Sat May 02, 2015 12:03 am

Hi,

I am quite new to robot but what I have experienced so far is that the TPR language
does not seem to be very efficient in dealing with missing brackets.

While other programming languages point out missing brackets, i.e. a syntax error, quite
easily I find that TPR does not give out an error at all, but just ignores the codelines with
the missing bracket.

Is there any way, aside from careful bracket matching when coding of course, to be informed
about a missing bracket? And here I don't mean the already available yellow highlighting of the
matching brackets which only works for brackets which are on the same page in the window.

Many thanks,

-Michael
