New T-Plan functionality idea

Maybe rather modification of existing one :-)

When linking two incidents, you can't see the current status in the references pane.

It would be pretty nice that this functionality woould work like this:
1. link an issue A to issue B.
2. a specific table is populated with a tpID value
3. when swithing to references pane - by tpID value all details are being read (refreshed every time):
- status
- system reference
- priority
- closure
(let's say - fully configurable)

Yes. It may be very slow and require a fast server, but it might be available only for SQL or ORACLE databases.

When you link an incident to another incident in Client IMS - I.e. you raise an incident against selection - it connects to the 2 incidents together via external references.
The incidents when so connected gets an icon to show that they are linked.

When selecting the External References window it is possible to see the current status of the linked incident in the bottom pane of the window.
At present these values are fixed although I do like your idea of displaying more information against this reference.

I was thinking about rebuilding the external references functionality for referencing the incidents together.
The idea is to list them all in a window - simmilar to history logs.
The data displayed could be then customized (user choose what to see - prefix, id, system reference, etc.)

Additional tables are necessary for that.
Also reporting stuff.
