IMS Filter query

Post by piotrkrupa » Mon Apr 26, 2004 1:49 pm

Sample filter definition: 'Find any Incident where (RaisedOn = 26/04/2004)'

Is it possible to use a variable instead of specific date, that the filter will be "actual" every day?

maybe 'Find any Incident where (RaisedOn = %today%)' ??

would be very helpful in some specific cases

:-)

Ah well, it is already implemented - though, perhaps not so well documented.

Try these:-

Todays Incidents:-
Find Any Incident where RaisedOn = Today

This weeks Incidents
Find Any Incident where RaisedOn > Today - 7D

Ah, ok - 5.0 SR3 lacks the "Today" synonym - try Now instead, ie:

Find Any Incident where RaisedOn = Now

or

Find Any Incident where RaisedOn = Now - 7D

We added the Today synonym of Now in 5.1 as some users thought "Today" was more descriptive than "Now".
