T-Plan 5 with Access database performance problem

Post by MHyde » Thu Nov 26, 2009 11:16 am

We have T-Plan 5 hooked up to an Access database. It works fine until more than one user logs in. As soon as there is more than one user, everything slows down to an almost unusable speed.

For example, we tried linking conditions and gave up after 50 minutes (T-Plan had completed 31 conditions linked).

We tried applying then Conditions not scripted filter and gave up after 20 minutes.

We are reduced to having to time-share the database.

We've tried moving the database to a different server but the problems were the same: reasonable performance with one user logged in, terrible with two.

Any suggestions received gratefully.
