Error Logging in the T-Plan Product Suite

Using the Error Logging Utility in T-Plan to Record Errors.

If T-Plan Professional or T-Plan Incident Manager is reporting errors, then you can use the built in Error Logging Utility to enable logging of low level activity to a log file. This information may help us to determine whether there are database problems. You can then email the log file to support@t-plan.com or raise a support issue via this Support Site.

In T-Plan Version 6 & 7 the error log can be read and then saved by selecting the Professional or IMS button in the top left hand corner of the window, then selecting Options, and then the Error Logging Tab.

In T-Plan Version 5.1.2 the error Logging utility can be found under Options/Preferences on the main menu bar within T-Plan Professional or T-Plan IMS. Simply navigate to this location, open the Log File and save the contents to e.g. a Notepad document.
